Communication Awareness

The Society can provide Communication Awareness training to any Service Providers and/or Service Users.  Training can be bespoke to those who attend a course and aims to provide solutions to problems encountered in different work or home environments.  

The Communication Awareness courses can be delivered in the following ways:-

1 x Two hour session -

This course gives an insight of the communication difficulties for people with a hearing loss and teaches very basic communication tactics. 

4 x 90 minutes per session or

2 x 3 hours per session 

This course provides an understanding of the communication difficulties for people with a hearing loss.  What a good listening environment is and provides the skills to enable you to become a good communicator.

We can take individual or group bookings.  The 2 hour course is free but any donation made to the Society would be very much appreciated, so that we can continue our work in the community.
